Journey

After deciding on the world trip, the first thing we did was plan our journey. We first wrote down all the places we wanted to go and decided on a route. Before we delved further, we checked how much a RTW airline would cost, so we headed to our nearest STA Travel. We made an appointment with Andy and showed up the next day to discuss our plans. We told him all the destinations that were a must see on the route and he compiled a list of flights to help us achieve them.  He was able to get us a ticket for most of our destinations at quite a reasonable price.

This includes flights;

Hong Kong – Singapore

Bangkok –  Dehli

Mumbai – Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi – Johannesburg

Cape Town – Dubai

Dubai- Buenos Aires

Lima- Florida

Florida- LA

New York- Reykjavik

Reykjavik – Manchester

For each person it cost around £2200, not bad for 10 flights. The best thing about these tickets is that they are completely flexible. Going on such an extended trip means it is impossible to plan when and where you will be at all times. As a result, all of these flights can be changed without an admin fee as many times as you want. So, if we are completely flexible it may be possible to change them without costing a single penny!

We will be starting on the Trans-Siberian which takes us on a 20 day trip:

St Petersburg- Moscow- Ekaterinburg-Irkutsk- Ulaanbaatar-Beijing

After this, we aren’t sure where we are going. So keep up-to-date on our home page!
